The Bachelor of Arts program in Arabic and Communication ( BA i arabisk og kommunikation )
combines two studies--Arabic Studies and Business Communication.
emphasizes mastery of the Arabic language at a communicative level.
allows for a good background in Middle Eastern history, politics, society and culture.
includes a recommended stay of one semester in an Arab country.
teaches how to plan communication tasks from concept to implementation.
covers the principles of written and oral personal communication, including such techniques as graphic design.
Administration
This program is offered jointly by the Faculty of Theology and the Aarhus School of Business.
It is coordinated by the Program Committee for Arabic and Communication ( Fagudvalget for Arabisk og Kommunikation ). The Chair of this committee is Aase Møller, and enquiries should be addressed to her.
In formal terms, it is subject to the Board of Studies for the Study of Religion and Arabic Studies ( Studienævnet for Religionsvidenskab og Arabisk ) at the Faculty of Theology and to the Board of Studies for Language and Business Communication ( Bachelorstudienævnet for Sprog og Erhvervskommunikation ) at the Aarhus School of Business.
