As a student at University of Aarhus you can borrow materials from several of the departmental libraries at University of Aarhus as well as from the State and University Library. All the libraries have individual systems for borrowing books so you have to find the information on the homepages of the libraries. As the Library at the Faculty of Theology does not provide materials from other libraries, you must collect and deliver the materials yourself.
If you do not find a book in a library at University of Aarhus or in the State and University Library you can make a request in Bibliotek.dk, where the total material collection of the Danish libraries is registered. You can request material for collection at the State and University Library or at your local library (however, not the Library at the Faculty of Theology).
If your search in Bibliotek.dk is unsuccessful, the State and University Library, Interlibrary Loan Department, will try to obtain the material for you from libraries abroad.
On the service ‘ Books to your doorstep ’ you can order material from some of the Danish research libraries; the material will be delivered directly to your home address. Most of the libraries charge about DKK 50 per unit for sending the material.
