Aarhus University has at its disposal 28 guest residences in the Nobel Park, which can be rented mainly by visiting researchers from abroad for periods exceeding one month.

Facilities

The flats are fully furnished and equipped with common accessories. Common facilities are roof terrace, laundry room, storage facilities, activity room, and bicycle- and carparking. Furthermore, the flats are linked to the telephone and computer network of the university.

Conditions

• Affiliation with the faculty
  The flats may be rented by researchers mainly from abroad visiting the departments and centres of the faculty.
  
  
• Lease period
  The flats are rented on the basis of an interim contract of one month at the minimum and one year at the maximum. The lease period always starts by the 1st in a month. Depending on the demand for flats, the contract may be renewed on the condition that the leaseholder is still connected to the Faculty.
  
• Priority rules
  The flats are rented on a first come, first served basis. However, the Faculty decides the final recommendation priority. Lease periods of four months or more are given priority over applications for lease periods of less than four months. Consequently, applications for lease periods of less than four months will not receive an assurance until four months before the beginning of the lease period.
