The theme of the Aarhus 2009 conference is “The influence of Reformation theology on culture and politics and its theological potentials”.
The conference aims
• to analyse the impact of Reformation theology
• to bring together leading Lutheran and Reformation-inspired voices
• to host a critical interaction between different schools of contemporary Lutheran theology
• to work at constructive models of Lutheran theology in a largely post-confessional age

All workshop paper proposals will be subject to peer review in advance. Abstracts for workshop papers (1 page of maximum 500 words) to be sent by May 1 2009 to conference secretary Bo Grymer, Faculty of Theology, Aarhus University, Taasingegade 3, DK-8000 Aarhus C, Denmark, bbg@teo.au.dk.

Keynote lectures and a selection of workshop papers are planned for publication in a book with the working title ‘The Reception and Transformation of Reformation Theology’.
Registration fee of EUR 150 covers conference materials and meals and must be paid in cash at venue registration. Accommodation is not included.
By further funding conference fee will be reduced.

In one of the Workshop sessions a separate PhD session lead by an esteemed senior scholar will be offered to participating PhD students. The presentation of a paper in the size of a workshop paper is required (see
Guidelines for Submission of Workshop Papers )
If you want take part in this session please indicate on your workshop proposal that you are a PhD student, and on the registration form that you want to participate in the PhD session.
2 ECTS points will be given upon participation in the whole program incl. the PhD session.
